The E-mode is E-approved R148/149 with reference number 20. It’s suitable for European roads and poor weather conditions, as it lessens glare from snow and rain. The extended beam pattern has a color temperature of 4500 K. A dual-color position light in white and amber creates a stunning old-school glow, just like in old times. The position light diodes are invisible when not used, so that you can enjoy the old-school design and expression of the lens. It’s inspired by the classic glass lenses but made from durable polycarbonate for modern quality. Thanks to the IP rating of IP68/69K, it can withstand both dirt and water. It’s covered by Strands’ 3-year warranty to guarantee a long lifespan. This timeless design will never go out of style. Every part of the OG is designed with the utmost attention to detail. The reflector’s design boosts the white and amber position light and spreads a diffused, indirect glow. The position light also draws attention to the illuminated Strands logo in the lens. When not used, the position light is invisible in the lens. The OG has a smooth, slim look yet a solid feel, and is made of high-quality materials. When installing the OG, the 2,5 m cable provides plenty of reach, so you don’t need to lengthen the cable. Everything you need for installation is included in the package: bracket, screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and silicone pads.
